Casita Student Accommodation offers over 1 million safe and secure student rooms in 62 countries around the world. They’ve spent the last 20 years helping students find their perfect home-away-from-home while studying at abroad, but were looking for a fresh new look. We were tasked to work on a branding and website design project to give their image a fresh, playful, and vibrant look.
We introduced a handdrawn style that makes their brand feel approachable and unique. The playful and bright branding makes it easier for students and parents to connect with the brand, making the search for student accommodation a bit more enjoyable and a lot more memorable.

We collaborated with stakeholders in the USA, Hong Kong, and India, working across different time zones to gather and consolidate feedback from diverse backgrounds. Through regular chats and workshops, we crafted a brand and website design that everyone involved could be proud of.

The Impact of Custom Illustrations for Branding
Illustration was a specific request from Casita, and it turned out to be a game-changer. While many businesses rely on stock imagery, which often results in a similar look across the board, custom illustrations allowed Casita to stand out with a unique and original visual identity. This bespoke approach not only set them apart from competitors but also gave us the flexibility to think more conceptually. Illustrations enabled us to craft imagery for blog articles, social media posts, and other content that went beyond literal representations, providing a more imaginative and engaging way to communicate their brand story.
